Today we had a lecture with a man called Barry form Amnesty International. He came in to talk a bit about what the charity is all about, what there beliefs are and the various causes they are supporting this month. It was important to find out more about the charity other than just looking on the website because it gave me a deeper understanding of the the whole charity, and also helped me think about my forthcoming project and what are I will cover when creating my poster. Barry came across as very intelligent and knew a lot about the charity, considering he volunteered in 1969 for the Dorchester society. We asked him many questions about his life and beliefs, it was interesting to find out what motivates him also what his main achievements have been during the many devoted years.
